Kojo Antwi is Ghana's biggest musical export and affectionately called 'Mr. Music Man'. He has won the most Kora awards of any Ghanaian and although a highlife musician, he also plays reggae.

He was born Julius Kojo Antwi and grew up in a suburb of Accra called Darkuman in a family with 13 siblings.

He started out singing with bands, starting with Ojahtanah, and then later, Boom Talents, Classic Handles which eventually became Classic Vibes. He started his solo career in the late 1980’s and has gone on to become one of the most visible and successful artistes in West Africa. He has released about 12 albums.

Some of his songs include Tom and Jerry Aware, Akonoba, Seliwa, Pour some sugar on me, Bo me nkomo de, Emere bi beba, Brebre Anowaa, Maintenance man, Kakayi, Bra, Wo do yi ye nsa, Ehe na meti ye, Odo maayea and Ponko abo dam.
